The Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention seeks to offer a wide variety of food offerings in the food court and surrounding the event. We are currently at capacity for vendors for the Convention. For consideration at future events please submit this Food Vendor Interest Form.
Payment Type: All food vendors are part of a collective fundraising effort for the Student Activities Office at Athens State University. Therefore, the food vendor participation fee is a 25% gross profit share that is retained by the university. Gross profit is the profit a company makes after deducting the costs associated with producing and selling its products or the costs associated with its services at this event.
Types of Food Vendors: With limited space, hearty food options from vendors that can offer more than a single item are generally sought, with exceptions for ice cream and kettle corn. No homemade canned goods of any kind are permitted per health department regulations. No vendor will be permitted to sell cotton candy as that is sold exclusively by the university’s students. No alcoholic beverages are permitted to be sold.
